National Business Furniture has opened three warehouses in Cranbury, NJ, Atlanta, and Reno, NV. The warehouses will enable the retailer to ship items the same day so customers can receive merchandise within several days of placing orders with NBF.com, OfficeFurniture.com or OfficeChairs.com.

Previously, the company relied on drop-shipping from manufacturers, but the new facilities will help grow its same day shipping program, called Ships Today. Customers can find items eligible for the program on product pages where each product is labeled Ships Today, or under a separate category header that lists all items that qualify.

“We move quickly to react to our customers’ needs, and getting furniture faster is a common theme we’ve heard. Our decision to invest in these warehouses reflects our continuous commitment to providing our customers with the best level of service we possibly can,” says president Kent Anderson.

NBF, No. 219 in the in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, offers more than 200 products in the Ships Today program, and next year the company plans to double its offering of stocked products.
