Cooking.com hires a seasoned marketing exec

Cooking.com Inc. has hired Kieran Hannon as chief marketing officer. He will manage both the marketing efforts for Cooking.com and those of retailers who use the Powered by Cooking.com e-commerce platform.

Cooking.com Inc. has hired Kieran Hannon as chief marketing officer. He will manage both the marketing efforts for Cooking.com and those of retailers who use the Powered by Cooking.com e-commerce platform.

"Kieran`s extensive experience in traditional and nontraditional marketing channels including e-commerce will help us reach customers in new, innovative ways," said Tracy Randall, CEO of Cooking.com. "We expect his leadership to create world-class marketing programs that will drive additional growth for Cooking.com and our partners."

Hannon most recently was executive vice president of marketing at cell phone service provider Helio LLC, where he was responsible for online and offline marketing. Before Helio, Hannon was vice president of marketing at RadioShack Corp.

Cooking.com, No. 165 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, operates five web sites: Cooking.com, FoodNetworkStore.com, StarbucksStore.com, PillsburyStore.com and BettyCrockerStore.com.
