Web site builder on the march to designing iPhone apps

Coalmarch Productions is branching out into mobile-optimized applications because it believes demand will grow for iPhone apps.

Coalmarch Productions LLC is expanding into the iPhone applications market. It will develop custom applications for clients, including e-retailers.

Coalmarch designs and builds web sites and offers online and traditional marketing services. It is branching out into mobile-optimized applications because it believes demand will grow for iPhone applications. There already is considerable interest among consumers, as IPhone users downloaded more than 10 million applications from Apple’s App Store during the store’s first weekend of operation in July.

“I am convinced that the iPhone Apps market offers companies the opportunity to roll back time to the early days of computing when we were creating an entirely new industry,” says Jake St. Peter, co-founder and president of Coalmarch. “By expanding our service and product base we fully expect our iPhone Apps to a show a return many times what we see from our already lucrative web design and development efforts.”
