Amazon.com Inc. expanded its product lines even further today with the launch of its Motorcycle & ATV Store, featuring motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle parts, accessories and protective gear. The store offers more than 300,000 products from over 500 manufacturers.

Amazon launched an Automotive Parts and Accessories Store last year. “The expansion to include motorcycle and ATV parts and accessories was a natural one,” the company said in a release announcing the launch.

The Motorcycle Industry Council reports that in 2007 sales of scooters and dual-purpose motorcycles reached their highest levels in 20 years. With high gas prices, the council expects that trend to continue this year.
