Sam’s Club adds e-commerce duty to exec’s position

Sam`s Club, the wholesale division of Wal-Mart Stores, has named Cindy Davis executive vice president of membership, marketing and e-commerce.

Sam`s Club, the wholesale division of Wal-Mart Stores, has named Cindy Davis executive vice president of membership, marketing and e-commerce. Previously responsible for membership and marketing for the retailer, she adds e-commerce duties in this new role.

Davis joined Sam’s Club in November 2007. Before joining the retailer, she worked as president of global development and communications at Rapp Collins Worldwide in Dallas. Before Rapp Collins, she was vice president of brand marketing for Pizza Hut.

Davis will continue reporting to Doug McMillon, president and CEO of Sam`s Club.
