E-mail firm Options Media goes mobile with purchase of 1Touch Marketing

1Touch Marketing has a database of postal, mobile and text message data for 142 million consumers and 19 million business names. It also can target advertising to consumer, professional and education web sites.

E-mail services provider Options Media Group Inc. has announced plans to acquire 1Touch Marketing LLC, which specializes in marketing to consumers online and through their mobile phones.

The deal is set to close this month. No purchase price was disclosed.

1Touch Marketing brings a database of postal, mobile and text message contact data for 142 million opted-in consumer names, including 38 million mobile users, plus contact records for 19 million business names, Options Media says. It also offers lead-generation services that can target advertising to consumer, professional and education web sites.
