MIVA shifts senior executive responsibilities

MIVA announced that president and chief marketing officer Seb Bishop has resigned. In the interim, CEO Peter A. Corrao will take over Bishop’s duties.

MIVA Inc., a provider of e-commerce platform and digital media services to web retailers and others, has announced the resignation of president and chief marketing officer Seb Bishop. In the interim, CEO Peter A. Corrao will take over Bishop’s duties. Bishop will remain as a member of MIVA’s board of directors.

In the second quarter MIVA posted a net loss of $6.3 million on sales of $30.2 million vs. a net loss of $16.4 million on sales of $39.6 million in the second quarter of 2007.

MIVA, which recently announced a restructuring program to save $4 million in annual operating costs, expects its 2008 revenue to range from $128 million to $130 million.
