JCPenney.com posts the best site availability in July

With a score of 99.83%, JCPenney.com posted the best high broadband rating among big web retailers in July, says Gomez Inc. JCPenney.com was followed by ColdwaterCreek.com and Saks.com at 99.80% and 99.76%, respectively.

Web shoppers could access a top 50 retail site with a high broadband connection an average of 99.29% of the time in July. That availability compares with an average of 98.50% for a low broadband connection and 82.67% for dial-up, says Gomez Inc.

The retailer with the best dial-up success rate in June was also JCPenney.com at 98.61% while Zappos.com had the best low broadband availability in July at 99.44%.
