Don Scales, president and chief operating officer of search marketing firm iCrossing, is now also serving as CEO. He succeeds iCrossing founder Jeffrey Herzog, who will remain as vice chairman in charge of strategic direction.
Scales, a 25-year veteran of interactive marketing, joined iCrossing in March 2006 and served for the past two years as president and chief operating officer responsible for streamlining operations, improving efficiency and increasing profits. He also worked with Herzog on five acquisitions.
Prior to iCrossing, Scales served as CEO of Agency.com, an interactive marketing firm, where he managed all aspects of its worldwide operations.
ICrossing’s clients include Office Depot, Travelocity, The Coca-Cola Co. and Toyota Motor Co.
ICrossing also recently announced it has moved its New York office from Madison Ave. in downtown Manhattan. The new 16,500-square-foot office will house 60 current employees and allow room for growth, the company says.
