In addition to papers, pens and personal computers, business customers can now also shop Office Depot Inc.’s OfficeDepot.com for Google marketing and business tools.

“Office Depot knows what it takes to be successful in the online space, and is excited to provide small businesses with innovative tools that will help their business to be successful as well,” says Jeffrey Rohling, vice president of direct sales.

Through the retailer’s new online resource center, Office Depot customers will be able to use a variety of Google products to grow their businesses, including Google AdWords. Office Depot customers will receive $50 of free ads from AdWords, Google’s program for placing ads next to search results.

Business customers also will have access to Google Apps-including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs-and Google Local Business Center, which can be used to create free online listings that include an address, phone number, hours of operation and photos. The listings appear in Google search results and Google Maps, and can link to the retailers’ web sites.
