(Olathe, Kan.) May 20, 2008 – LaGarde Inc., a leader in cutting-edge eCommerce solutions for more than 12 years, announced today a partnership with SLI Systems. The partnership will enable LaGarde’s mid- and large-market eCommerce clients to utilize SLI Systems’ Learning Search to learn from their customers’ search and buying habits. The on-demand site search capability will enable LaGarde clients to enhance merchandising capabilities, increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.

“In an effort to offer our clients the best the eCommerce industry offers, we selected SLI Systems’ advanced search technology because it delivers targeted search results generating higher sales conversion rates and larger client orders,” said Bob LaGarde, founder and CEO of LaGarde. “Our merchants will gain access to valuable client intelligence that will result in a powerful and cost effective way to succeed online,” said LaGarde.

SLI Systems’ Learning Search continually monitors customer search behavior to deliver search results based on popularity. The search is continually refined, enhancing customer satisfaction and providing a valuable understanding of client needs. LaGarde clients will now be able to strengthen their merchandising efforts by showcasing the right products to the right clients.

“When shoppers do not find what they want on an eCommerce Web site, nearly three-quarters of them will leave within two minutes, more than one-third will never return to the site and more than one-half will only come back if the site’s merchandise is unique,” said Todd Watson, director of business and channel development for SLI Systems. “By integrating with our Learning Search Technology, LaGarde’s clients will help their customers find what they’re looking for quickly and easily resulting in a positive impact on conversions and revenues,” said Watson.
