Office Depot leads in March conversion rates, study says

Among online retailers with at least 500,000 unique visitors in March, Office Depot recorded the highest visitor-to-sales conversion rate for the month at 20.9%, Nielsen Online reports.

Among online retailers with at least 500,000 unique visitors in March, Office Depot Inc. recorded the highest visitor-to-sales conversion rate for the month, followed by QVC Inc. and VistaPrint Ltd., Nielsen Online says in its MegaView Online Retail report.

Office Depot, No. 3 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, had a March conversion rate of 20.9%. QVC.com had a conversion rate of 19%, and VistaPrint 18.3%.

Following are the top 10 online retailers in March conversion rates, according to Nielsen’s MegaView Online Retail report:

  • Office Depot, 20.9%
  • QVC, 19%
  • VistaPrint, 18.3%
  • Roamans, 18.1%
  • Lands’ End, 16.2%
  • eBay, 15.7%
  • 1-800-Flowers.com, 15.5%
  • eBags.com, 15.3%
  • L.L. Bean, 14.6%
  • Pottery Barn Kids, 14.2%

    In the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, QVC is No. 14; VistaPrint, No. 79; 1-800-Flowers, No. 117; eBags, No. 92; and L.L. Bean, No. 23.

    Lands’ End is a unit of Sears Holdings Corp., which is No. 7 in the Guide, and Pottery Barn Kids is part of Williams-Sonoma Inc., No. 20.
