Competing home & garden sites are growing much faster in terms of unique visitors than category leader eBay Home, according to Nielsen Online.
While eBay Home’s unique visitor total decreased 12% in March from the same month a year ago, No. 2 The Home Depot increased its total by 2% and third place Lowe’s by 23%. Home Depot only trailed eBay Home by 469,000 unique visitors in March, having made up more than three-quarters of the 2.1 million visitor gap in March 2007.
