Partsearch Technologies names new e-commerce vice president

Replacement parts e-retailer Partsearch Technologies has hired Daniel F. Seligson for the newly created position of e-commerce vice president.

Replacement parts e-retailer Partsearch Technologies has hired Daniel F. Seligson for the newly created position of e-commerce vice president. Seligson will be responsible for growing the company’s online sales at Partstore.com by creating new partnerships and also will oversee web site improvements.

Seligson most recently served as vice president of marketing for iAmplify, a media company that sells downloadable audio and video programs. Additionally, Seligson worked as a strategic marketing manager for A&E; Television networks and as a marketing and sales development consultant.

In his new role, Seligson will oversee pay-per-click campaigns for the company’s search engine marketing efforts and steer creative for the Partsearch’s e-commerce site.

Partsearch, launched in 2001 and No. 401 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide , provides parts-replacement services for such retailers as Best Buy and Circuit City, operates its own e-commerce site at partstore.com.
