Simon Stokes has been named managing director of CyberSource Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of CyberSource, which provides payment processing and risk-management technology.
CyberSource Corp. has promoted Simon Stokes to managing director of its UK subsidiary, CyberSource Ltd. Stokes joined the UK company in 2006 as sales director and has been interim managing director since June 2007.
"Simon Stokes has been an exceptional contributor to CyberSource from day one," says Michael Walsh, senior vice president of worldwide sales at Mountain View, CA-based CyberSource. "We welcome his fuller participation and leadership as CyberSource looks to expand its already successful operations in the European arena."
Prior to joining CyberSource, Stokes spent 17 years with the UK unit of Dell Inc., No. 4 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide. Sean McDonald, Global Online director at Dell, will speak at the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition, June 9-12 in Chicago, in a session entitled New frontiers: Marketing and merchandising on social sites.
CyberSource processes payments and provides risk-management services to online retailers and other merchants.
