Google sites, eBay and Microsoft sites in January recorded the most web traffic in Germany, according a new report from ComScore Inc.
Google sites took the top spot with 33.9 million visitors, followed by eBay (24.6 million) and Microsoft Sites (17.6 million). Other U.S. companies in the top 25 were AOL LLC (No. 5, with 16 million visits), Yahoo Sites (No. 12, with 12.2 million visits), Amazon sites (No. 13, with 11.7 million visits). Ciao, the international comparison shopping site company, was ranked No. 23 with 6 million visits.
Other sites in the top 10 were United-Internet sites (No. 4, with 16.3 million visits), Wikipedia sites (No. 6, with 15.1 million visits), Otto Grupe (No. 7, with 15.1 million visits), Arcandor AG (No. 8, with 14.3 million), T-Online Sites, (No. 9, with 13.3 million visits) and ProSiebenSat1 Sites (No. 10, with 12.6 million visits)
