E-mail specialist Bizanga hires Dave Lewis

Bizanga, a provider of an e-mail message processing and security platform, has named former StrongMail Systems executive Dave Lewis as vice president of market and product strategy.

Bizanga Ltd., a provider of an e-mail message processing and security platform, has named former StrongMail Systems executive Dave Lewis as vice president of market and product strategy.

Lewis will be responsible for industry outreach and development of products to extend Bizanga’s market reach, the company says. “His insight and experience will be invaluable as we pursue new solutions and market opportunities,” says CEO Jerome Lecat.

A 30-year veteran of marketing services, Lewis joins Bizanga from e-mail services provider StrongMail Systems, where he was engaged with strategic accounts, drove industry outreach initiatives and introduced a series of product enhancements, Bizanga says. Prior to StrongMail, Lewis served as vice president of deliverability management and ISP relations for e-mail service provider Digital Impact (now Acxiom/Digital) and as vice president of marketing and customer information for CareGuide, an online provider of elder care management applications.

Earlier, Lewis led development and marketing for a multi-sourced national consumer list product at Acxiom Corp. He also founded and managed the list services division for DataQuick Information Systems before its acquisition by Acxiom.

Lewis began his career at Bank of America where he held a series of senior marketing and product management positions over his 15-year tenure, including responsibility for the development and direct marketing of its equity products.
