MyWebGrocer.com expands with new appointments in sales and development

Rob Rice will focus on sales and business development in New England and the Tri-State area. Trent Becker will handle the Western region.

MyWebGrocer.com is expanding with the appointment of two new sales representatives to the team. The company, which provides e-commerce and Internet marketing solutions to grocery retailers, has more than 80 retail grocery chain clients for services including web site design and hosting, e-mail, online circulars and other e-commerce operations.

Rob Rice, who joins the company in a sales and business development role, will be focusing on the New England and the Tri-State area encompassed by New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He brings more than 19 years of experience in the grocery field to his new role, including 13 years of experience in retail grocery, customer relationship management, and sales of software, technology, analysis, direct mail and related data processing solutions.

Trent Becker will handle the Western states of California, Colorado and Kansas. He has more than 12 years of experience in the consumer package goods and marketing industries. Previously, he was regional vice president of sales at Pay by Touch, where he helped retailers with customer relationship management strategies and practices. Prior to that, he held a senior sales position at Valassis, which provides a variety of promotional media platforms to grocery retailers.
