Online retail spending rises 20% to $122.7 billion in 2007, comScore says

Retail e-commerce spending rose 20.2% in 2007 to $122.7 billion, up from $102.1 billion in 2006, comScore reports.

Retail e-commerce spending rose 20.2% in 2007 to $122.7 billion, up from $102.1 billion in 2006, comScore Inc. reports.

2007’s figure was up 132% from 2003, when retail non-travel e-commerce spending amounted to $53.9 billion, comScore says.

For the 2007 November-December holiday shopping season, retail non-travel e-commerce spending reached $29.2 billion, up 18.7% from $24.6 billion in 2006 and up 137.4% from $12.3 billion in 2003, comScore says.
