A software industry veteran with more than 20 years experience, Newfield will provide leadership and implement infrastructure to help accelerate the Company`s success - supporting customer transactions, channel expansion, M&A; activity and IP development worldwide.
Newfield most recently served for six years as vice president and general counsel at MRO Software, as the company re-engineered its products and penetrated new markets, culminating in the company`s acquisition by IBM in the Fall of 2006. Prior to MRO, Newfield was vice president and general counsel at Interleaf, Inc., a publishing solutions provider acquired by Broadvision in 2000. He began his career in law at Brown Rudnick, an international law firm, and holds a Master`s degree in Management from the MIT Sloan School and a J.D. from Boston College.
