BOSTON, Dec. 4 -- AMR Research is pleased to welcome Bill Polk, Dennis Gaughan, and Lucie Draper to the firm.
As a research director on the Value Chain Strategies team, Bill Polk is responsible for research and analysis on the chemicals, metals, and mining industries. Before joining AMR Research, Bill was unit director within the enterprise services and support group for State Street Corporation (formerly Investors Bank & Trust). Prior to Investors Bank & Trust, Bill was a senior director with Oracle Corporation. Bill also spent over seven years in the manufacturing industry as a director of operations, managing facilities in the U.S., Mexico, and overseas, for ITT Industries and Robinson Nugent Corporation.
Dennis Gaughan, a research director on the Market Services team, conducts research and analysis on market trends and developments in IT management and service-oriented architecture. Dennis rejoins AMR Research from IBM Corporation, where he was responsible for the product strategy and marketing of the Tivoli security portfolio within IBM`s Software Group. Prior to joining AMR Research, Dennis held a variety of IT management positions, including a term as a senior analyst for PepsiCo.
Lucie Draper joins AMR Research`s Quantitative Research team from IDC, where she was program manager for research on enterprise technology trends. As a research director, she designs questionnaires and samples, conducts field interviews and surveys, and performs statistical analysis of research data and reports.
