Just in time for the holiday shopping season, Canadian electronics retailer Vision Electronics has flipped the switch on its new e-commerce site.
The retailer operates 26 stores in western Canada and is trying to integrate the site with its stores with a store locator and a feature that lets site visitors see promotional flyers from the store closest to their homes. The site also features a Technology Learning Center that answers such questions as: Plasma vs. LCD (Which is Right For You).
“We are excited to bring our business online and provide Internet users a truly Canadian electronics shopping experience,” says George Finlayson, vice president of Vision Electronics.
The e-commerce site is being operated by Brand2Media, based in Lachine, a suburb of Montreal.
