Children’s Place CEO steps down following internal investigation

The board of directors of the multi-channel retailer requested the resignation of Ezra Dabah following a review that concluded he had not complied with company rules regarding securities trades. Board member Chuck Crovitz will serve as interim CEO.

Ezra Dabah has stepped down as CEO of multi-channel retailer The Children’s Place Retail Stores Inc. after an internal review concluded he had not complied with company rules regarding securities trades. Board member Chuck Crovitz will serve as interim CEO while the company seeks a permanent replacement.

Dabah will remain a member of the board of directors.

The company, No. 249 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, also announced that the company`s chief creative officer, Nina Miner, was reassigned after a review found irregularities in expense reimbursement practices.

The company said none of the violations of company policies would have a material affect on operating results.
