Blockbuster hires a new CIO

Blockbuster Inc. has a new chief information officer. The retailer, No. 51 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, has named Keith Morrow as its new top technology executive.

Morrow was most recently the CIO and senior vice president of information systems at convenience store chain 7-Eleven Inc. At 7-Eleven he was responsible for leading the company`s North American information technology activities.

Prior to his tenure with 7-Eleven, Morrow held senior management positions with Associates First Capital Corp and Automatic Data Processing Inc.
