Restoration Hardware Inc. has signed a 15-year lease for a new distribution center that is expected to be under construction in West Jefferson, OH, this fall. The store, catalog and online retailer of home furnishings expects to move into the 800,000-square-foot space next summer. It will use the distribution center to fulfill orders, excluding furniture, from its web site and catalog and to distribute products to its East Coast retail stores.

The company says the new facility will allow it to phase out of a third-party distribution agreement that has operations in Nashville, TN, and will complement its distribution centers in Hayward and Tracy, CA, and Baltimore.

Restoration Hardware, No. 96 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, operates 102 retail stores and eight outlet stores in 30 states, the District of Columbia and Canada.
