Top retailers remain consistent in May

Web shoppers in May could access a top 50 retail site with a high broadband connection an average of 98.58% of the time, says Gomez.

Web shoppers in May could access a top 50 retail site with a high broadband connection an average of 98.58% of the time, compared with an average of 96.04% for a low broadband connection and 83.24% for dial-up, says Gomez Inc.

The retailers delivering the best site success rate in May included OfficeDepot.com at 99.71%, Walmart.com at 99.61% and EddieBauer.com with an average of 99.54%.

The web merchant providing the best low broadband availability also was OfficeDepot.com at 99.39%.
