From game shows to spirituality to online video

ExpoTV has appointed David Becker chief marketing officer. ExpoTV offers consumers “Videopinions,” consumer-generated product reviews delivered via online video, at no charge.

ExpoTV has appointed David Becker chief marketing officer. Becker will oversee marketing, product management, strategy development and execution, and report directly to CEO Daphne Kwon.

“David’s record of leadership in building meaningful brands that have created a passionate following was tremendously appealing to us,” Kwon says.

ExpoTV is a web site that offers consumers what the company calls “Videopinions,” consumer-generated product reviews delivered via online video, at no charge. Additionally, it has partnered with numerous cable television companies, which air the video reviews on select channels or on demand.

Becker has more than 20 years of retail industry experience. He most recently served as president and COO of Beliefnet.com, an ad-supported web site for self-help and spirituality. Prior to that, Becker was president and COO of Internet game show site Uproar.com.
