Carfax Vehicle History Reports Now Available With All auto2auto.com Inventory
COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Auto2Auto.com, the nation’s first and only online used car dealership, today announced a partnership with Carfax, the experts in vehicle history, to bring an added level of confidence to online used car shoppers.
Effective immediately, Carfax Vehicle History Reports will be provided for all used vehicles listed for sale on Auto2Auto.com, giving online shoppers access to on-the-spot vehicle history information at no charge when viewing Auto2Auto.com’s extensive online inventory.
“Providing free Carfax Vehicle History Reports on our site gives our customers another reason to buy online with confidence and is another example of how Auto2Auto.com is breaking the mold of the traditional used car dealer,” said Auto2Auto.com president and CEO Ben Freeland. “Online used car shoppers want peace of mind, and that’s exactly what Carfax Vehicle History Reports help deliver.”
Larry Gamache, director of communications for Carfax, said the partnership with Auto2Auto.com illustrates the growing importance of readily-available vehicle history information as online vehicle sales continue to grow.
“Carfax Vehicle History Reports are a valuable enhancement to Auto2Auto.com’s already innovative approach to the online auto marketplace,” added Gamache. “Naturally, there’s more uncertainty about buying a used car online than in-person. Giving used car shoppers instant access to vehicle history information, however, helps answer many of their questions in order to make a smart buying decision.”
Carfax Vehicle History Reports can include information related to title brands (e.g, salvaged, flooded, lemon), odometers (e.g., rolled back), registration (e.g., leased, rental), and other issues such as prior vehicle damage. Carfax One Owner cars, a popular choice for many used car shoppers, are easily identified with a special logo on the report.
