Dealio’s toolbar hits the 2.5 million user mark

More than 2.5 million consumers have installed the Dealio Comparison Shopping Toolbar, a 150% increase in less than four months, Dealio’s parent Vendio Services Inc. reports. Vendio launched Dealio 17 months ago.

More than 2.5 million consumers have installed the Dealio Comparison Shopping Toolbar, a 150% increase in less than four months, Dealio’s parent Vendio Services Inc. reports. Vendio launched Dealio 17 months ago.

“Over the past few months we have witnessed a significant increase in installations and utilization of the Dealio Toolbar,” says Rodrigo Sales, co-founder and CEO of Vendio. “Furthermore, the addition of user-generated content on Dealio.com last November resulted in more than a threefold increase in site visitors. We look forward to these trends continuing in the coming months as we roll out exciting new toolbar and web site enhancements.”

While Dealio.com was developed primarily to serve as a distribution point for the Dealio Toolbar, the company says it has evolved into a destination for user-submitted news on shopping deals and bargains. The information is available on Dealio.com and through the Dealio Toolbar.

The Dealio comparison shopping service differs from others in that it always lists the lowest price merchant first and it includes items from eBay, both fixed-priced and auction, and new, used or refurbished.

Vendio is a provider of online sales management services to retailers, founded in 1999.
