Customer review services vendor PowerReviews Inc. has signed partnership agreements with six e-commerce outsourcing vendors to integrate PowerReviews’ tag-based customer review technology into the vendors’ e-commerce platforms. The vendors are Art Technology Group Inc., Demandware Inc., Elastic Path Software Inc., Fry Inc., GSI Commerce Inc. and Truition Inc.

PowerReviews’ goal is to offer e-retailer customers its customer reviews system as part of an overarching e-commerce software package rather than making prospective customers have to buy the reviews system separate from other strategic technology purchases, the company says.

“Customer reviews functionality has been an increasing priority for our clients over the past year,” says Bill Zujewski, vice president of product marketing at Art Technology Group, also known as ATG. “PowerReviews’ technology and performance-based model allows us to provide a best-of-breed solution to our clients.”

The first Fry client on board with the integrated system is children’s merchandise retailer One Step Ahead.
