Retail Forward Names New Vice President of Business Development

COLUMBUS, Feb 7, 2007-Retail Forward, a global management consulting and market research firm based in Columbus, Ohio, is pleased to announce that James Russo has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Russo brings more than 16 years of experience in business development and market research across all sectors of the retail and consumer products industry. During his career, Mr. Russo has gained extensive experience delivering strategic analyses of economic, retail and consumer insights to the executive teams of leading retailers, suppliers, and insights providers.

Mr. Russo was formerly with global information and media company ACNielsen, where he served as General Manager delivering strategic insights and analysis of significant trends impacting retailers and suppliers. During his tenure with ACNielsen, Mr. Russo launched “Executive Perspective,” offering unique industry insight and foresight to hundreds of consumer packaged goods executives. He was a frequent presenter at ACNielsen industry conferences and delivered presentations to the executive teams of leading retailers and suppliers translating the impact of emerging industry and economic trends and evolving consumer insights on their businesses.
