SOLID CACTUS ADDS STAFF AND ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS

January 22, 2007 (Wilkes-Barre, PA) Solid Cactus, Inc., further underscored its growth and increasing prominence in the e-commerce and search marketing business. Today the company announced the following promotions and new staff additions:

Nathan Turock has joined Solid Cactus as a Solutions Advisor. As a founder of a brick and mortar ski shop, and its accompanying website, Nathan Turock is definitely no stranger to the e-commerce and retail scene. Plus with his 10 years experience, no one is a better fit to be a Solutions Advisor at Solid Cactus. As a Solutions Advisor, Nate gets to know his clients on a personal level. He works to find them the best solution for their Yahoo! store needs. Prior to becoming part of the Solid Cactus team, Nate worked as Cost Analysis Administrator. An alumnus of Ithaca College, Nate holds a degree in Business Management. He currently resides in Olyphant.

Stephen Grecco has joined Solid Cactus as a Solutions Advisor. In Stephen Grecco’s decade of experience in customer service and sales, he learned first hand the importance of listening to his clients. That’s exactly what he does in his position as Solutions Advisor at Solid Cactus. Steve spends the time to find exactly the right solution for each of his clients’ e-commerce needs. His experience expanded while working as General Manager of Aaron’s Sales & Lease, where his team successfully broke a 50 year industry record for new store sales and revenue. Steve earned his degree in Business Management and Administrative Economics from Lycoming College. He currently resides in Dunmore.

Kristin Scherer has joined Solid Cactus as a Call Center Services Solutions Advisor. With nearly a decade of customer service and support experience, Kristin Scherer works to allow every Solid Cactus Client the opportunity to spend more time growing their store than answering the telephone and taking orders. She’s earned her degrees in Business Marketing and Business Mangement from Luzerne County Community College and the University of Phoenix respectively. Kristin was employed at CTSI, LLC and CATSI, INC., where she was able to perfect her customer service abilities. She currently resides in Plymouth.

Leigh McGlynn has joined Solid Cactus as a Search Engine Marketing Manager. In the ever growing Search Engine Marketing department, Leigh McGlynn uses her many years of experience when managing her clientele. With her direction, all of her clients reach and surpass their marketing objectives. Leigh holds a degree in Hotel/ Restaurant Management and Business Marketing Management, which she earned from Luzerne County Community College and Penn State University respectively. Prior to joining the Solid Cactus staff, she was employed as an Account Executive for Inchworm Mobile Advertising. Leigh curretntly resides in Hanover Township

Jean Llyod has joined Solid Cactus as a Search Engine Marketing Manager. Jean works with the Search Engine Marketing Department to provide all clients with the necessary keyword terms and creative content they need for both Google and Yahoo ads. Besides being a member of the International English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta, Jean is an official Yahoo Search Marketing Ambassador and a Qualified Google Advertising Professional. She is a recent graduate of King’s College, and holds a degree in English with a concentration in Writing. Prior to joining the Solid Cactus team, Jean was employed as a writing tutor at King’s College. She currently resides in Wilkes-Barre.

Alicia Magda has joined Solid Cactus as a Technical Writer. Alicia brings three years of technical writing experience to her position as a Technical Writer at Solid Cactus. Alicia works with search engine marketing campaigns by creating META keywords and writing creative client ads. She has earned several awards for her writing, such as the Emerson Short Story Award and Silverstein Poetry Award in College Misericordia`s literary magazine, Instress. Alicia is currently a junior at College Misericordia pursuing a degree in English with a minor in Communications. She hopes to later attain her master`s degree in advertising. Prior to joining Solid Cactus, Alicia was employed as a writing tutor in College Misericordia`s Writing Center. Alicia presently resides in Bear Creek.

Robin Bagot has joined Solid Cactus as an PHP Developer. Robin comes to his position as PHP Developer with nearly a decade of experience in Information Technology, business information management, and web-based applications. He`s fluent in PHP, JavaScript, and SQL. As part of the Solid Cactus team, Robin works with the Advanced Programming Group to create complex web and desktop applications. Prior to coming to the United States in 2003, Robin attended the University of Liverpool, and the Liverpool John Moores University where he earned his Bachelor`s and Master`s degree in Environmental Science. He was also employed at Unilever in the United Kingdom, as a database manager. He currently resides in Berwick.

John Fallon has been promoted to Director of Sales for the Internet Marketing department. John brings years of valuable experience working in the software and customer service industries to his job as Search Marketing Director of Sales. Clients note John`s enthusiasm for his role at Solid Cactus when he optimizes their site to be search engine friendly. His expertise helps him increase clients` organic search engine ranking, and achieve a high return on investment. His many duties also include managing Affiliate, pay-per-click and also pay-per-call ad campaigns. In addition to the plethora of Microsoft certifications he has earned, John is also an official Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador and a Google AdWords Professional. He attends regular conferences and undergoes continual education to stay ahead in the fast-paced world of search marketing. John obtained his degree in Computer Information Systems from Pennsylvania State University. John previously served as manager of the Internet Marketing department.
