Ronald M. Emrick, Jr. Joins as Vice President of Technology

Addition reflects successful beta launch and continued growth for innovator of social shopping and tracking services

Boston, MA: Offertrax, a leader in online social shopping and tracking services, announced Ronald M. Emrick, Jr. has joined the company as Vice President of Technology. This announcement follows the company`s successful beta launch in November 2006.

Offertrax connects buyers and sellers online via personal shopping sites and helps them benefit from the growing phenomenon of social shopping. For sellers, Offertrax increases site conversions by helping buyers track items that interest them and be alerted to specific offer changes and purchasing opportunities. Importantly, the unique design of Offertrax will also allow buyers to share their tracks with others and form buying groups around individual products and categories.

Mr. Emrick has senior software engineering and solutions architechture experience with CELT Corporation, FairMarket, Cambridge Technology Partners, Symantec and Cadkey. He has specialized in integrating and developing eCommerce Web Services and XML based API`s (application program interface) including those offered by leading online shopping companies. Mr. Emrick received his B.S. in Computer Sciences with a Minor in Mathematics from Central Connecticut State University.
