Best Buy leads in visits to consumer electronics sites in November

BestBuy.com recorded the most traffic of the top 10 multi-category computers and consumer electronics sites in November, with 21.1 million visits, up 23% from 17.2 million in November 2005.

 

BestBuy.com recorded the most traffic of the top 10 multi-category computers and consumer electronics sites in November, with 21.1 million visits, up 23% from 17.2 million in November 2005.

CircuitCity.com ranked second with 15.6 million visits, up 18% from 13.2 million a year earlier; followed by eBay Electronics, 12.3 million, up 8% from 11.4 million; eBay Computers, 5.6 million, down 16% from 6.7 million; OSTG, 4.5 million, up 13% from 4 million; TigerDirect.com, 3.8 million, up 1% from 3.77 million; CompUSA.com, 3.7 million, down 3% from 3.8 million; Sony Electronics, 3.4 million, down 29% from 4.8 million; Sony, 3.2 million, down 11% from 3.6 million; and Newegg.com, 3.1 million, up 35% from 2.3 million.

In average length of time per visit, Newegg.com led with 18 minutes, 49 seconds; followed by CDW, 18 minutes, 8 seconds; TigerDirect.com, 16 minutes, 51 seconds; eBay Electronics, 13 minutes, 11 seconds; BestBuy.com, 12 minutes, 3 seconds; CircuitCity.com, 11 minutes, 42 seconds; RadioShack, 10 minutes, 28 seconds; Panasonic, 10 minutes, 6 seconds; OutPost.com, 9 minutes, 51 seconds; and GameStop.com, 9 minutes, 15 seconds.

Also in November, Reunion.com L.L.C. led all retail goods and services advertisers in the number of online ad impressions, according to Nielsen/NetRatings AdRelevance report.
