San Carlos, CA - December 4, 2006 - DemandTec, Inc., the leading provider of Consumer-Centric Merchandising, Sales, and Marketing software for retailers and consumer products firms, today announced that its DemandTec Price™ and DemandTec Promotion™ software solutions have been chosen by Circle K, an Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. company.
Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., which had $10.2 billion in sales for its 2006 fiscal year, operates thousands of convenience stores throughout North America providing food, beverages, and other merchandise, as well as services and motor fuel. Under the new agreement, Circle K, with more than 2,100 stores across the United States, will use DemandTec Price and DemandTec Promotion to handle its operational merchandising needs.
