Internet Retailer today announced its Top 50 Best of the Web online retailing web sites. “We are pleased to recognize The Top 50 for 2007. They reflect the best of what retailers can do online,” says Kurt T. Peters, editor in chief. “Retailers in our Top 50 represent the range of online retailing, from small to large, and include chains, catalogers, online-only merchants and brand name manufacturers. What they have in common is the willingness to innovate and set the standards for what the rest of the industry should be doing.”
This year’s sites range in size from Amazon.com, which continues to execute a brilliant online strategy while growing rapidly, to such smaller sites as AppliancePartsPros.com, which is a great example of how the Internet makes possible businesses that would have a hard time existing without the web.
