AnswerNet Acquires Proxy, Expands in Catalog, DRTV Markets

PRINCETON, N.J., Nov.7---The AnswerNet Network, the world’s largest telemessaging firm and a leading contact center services provider, has acquired Plano, Texas-based Proxy Communications, a contact center outsourcer, which provides order entry and customer service to catalog, e-tailing and direct response television (DRTV) clients.

Gail Patterson, Proxy’s President, is very excited that Proxy’s customers will have access to AnswerNet’s technology and experience in web based order entry, e-tailing and DRTV.

“AnswerNet’s web capabilities and operational processes will give our former customers a true competitive advantage,” said Patterson.

Proxy is the fourth company purchased by AnswerNet so far in 2006. AnswerNet previously acquired Unicall International of Fairlawn Ohio, S&D; Marketing of Philadelphia, Pa. and AirPage, of Helena, Mont.
