Avon names a new vice president of global web enablement

Avon has promoted Stephen Pedley to vice president global web enablement and new marketing. He will report to Brian Connolly, executive vice president of global sales strategy, and head up Avon’s new business-to-business e-commerce initiative.

Avon Products Inc. has named Stephen Pedley to vice president global web enablement and new marketing, a position that heads up Avon’s global business-to-business web initiative. He will report to Brian Connolly, executive vice president of global sales strategy.

Pedley, formerly vice president of strategy for Avon’s Western Europe, Middle East and Africa region, will be in charge of a new business-to-business Internet initiative that Avon is introducing to give its direct sales force in more than 100 countries access to new web tools such as online ordering, training, recruiting and seller management support.

Avon is No. 25 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites
