FTD.com leads in August conversion rates at 24%, study says

FTD.com led online retailers in August with a visitor-to-sales conversion rate of 24%, followed by second-ranked HSN.com with 15.7%, Nielsen/NetRatings reports.

 

FTD Inc.’s FTD.com led online retailers in August with a visitor-to-sales conversion rate of 24%, followed by second-ranked HSN.com with 15.7%, Nielsen/NetRatings says in its MegaView Online Retail report.

Ranked third was 1-800-Flowers.com, at 15.6%, followed by KingSize, 15.4%; QVC, 14.8%; Staples, 13.7%; Blair.com, 13.5%; Symantec, 13.3%; Lands’ End, 13.2%; and Office Depot, 12.9%.

Among product categories, computer hardware led in average order size with $393.10, followed by automotive, $305.75; consumer electronics, $143.10; jewelry and watches, $126.45; event and movie tickets, $108.21; sporting goods and outdoor activities, $101.41; office supplies, $84.07; home and garden, $74.20; shoes and athletic footwear, $55.45; apparel and accessories, $50.08.
