Online product comparison site Shopping.com has dressed itself anew and launched new functionality and features in advance of the 2006 holiday shopping season. The new look and feel and the additional features are designed to enable web shoppers to make better, more informed purchase decisions while taking less time to do so, a company spokeswoman says.

The What’s Hot section on Shopping.com’s home page provides shoppers with a quick overview of the hottest selling products in numerous categories. The Shop by Brand site section gives shoppers one-click access to complete virtual stores for various consumer brand manufacturers.
The Top 5 home page section includes special space devoted to holiday and seasonal items. The Top 5 categories are picked by company shopping analysts who pick the most popular products and update the home page section on daily basis.
And the Top 5 By Category feature clearly lists the top 5 products on each shopping sub-category page. The five products are determined based on what all Shopping.com visitors are choosing.
