Kay Jewelers, the Akron, OH-based chain of 800 specialty jewelry stores, is now offering online shopping at its Kay.com site. Customers making online purchases also will have the option of home deliver or free in-store pick-up.

Among new features at the site are 360-degree views of selected jewelry from The Leo Diamond collection. Customers also can click on the “Education Center” section to find a guide to diamond purchases, a bridal guide and information on different gemstones, pearls, precious metals and watches.

Online navigation tools also enable shoppers to shop by type of jewelry, specific metals or gems, price range, and occasion, such as engagement, wedding or anniversary. The site offers a broad assortment of diamond and color gemstone jewelry as well as watches from well-known brands such as Bulova, Citizen and Seiko.

“When we decided to offer our products online, our most important concern was to bring to Kay.com the same friendly, knowledgeable shopping experience we’ve created in our stores,” says Mark Light, president and CEO.
