Biblio.com names Kevin Donaldson chief marketing officer

Biblio.com, online retailer of used, rare and out-of-print books, has promoted Kevin Donaldson to chief marketing officer. He formerly served as director of sales and marketing. Donaldson joined the company in 2004.

Biblio.com, online retailer of used, rare and out-of-print books, has promoted Kevin Donaldson to chief marketing officer. He formerly served as director of sales and marketing.

Donaldson joined Biblio.com, No. 380 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites, in 2004, and has more than 15 years combined experience in sales, marketing and e-commerce.

“Kevin has been a vital component of our success in a highly competitive industry, and in recognition of this, we are pleased to have him assume a position of leadership which will enable him to further grow with Biblio and continue to share his vision and expertise with us,” says Brendan Sherar, CEO.

In 2005, Biblio grew sales more than 135% from 2004. The 3-year-old company offers more than 40 million titles from 5,100 independent booksellers in 36 countries through its community of web sites.
