Redcats USA has changed the name of Lerner Catalog, one of its biggest brands, to metrostyleä.

The multi-channel apparel retailer’s licensing agreement for the Lerner Catalog name came to an end earlier this year. It decided to make the switch to metrostyleä, an established brand within the Lerner Catalog, to build a stronger brand name based on metrostyleä’s fashionable clothing for urban women, the company says.

The company has transformed the Lerner Catalog e-commerce site to Metrostyle.com, enhancing site functionality and content with high-resolution images, zoom features, web-only special offers and fashion trend reports.

The transition to metrostyleä will continue for the remainder of 2006, taking over in the company’s catalogs and marketing materials. Redcats USA is No. 28 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites.
