Real-Time Customer Information Vital for Retailer of Women’s Athletic Apparel

Natick, MA-June 19, 2006- CommercialWare, Inc., a division of Datavantage and wholly owned subsidiary of MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCRS), and the leading provider of cross-channel commerce solutions for retailers, today announced that Title Nine (http://www.titlenine.com/) has chosen the CommercialWare suite of cross-channel retail software products for its direct, e-commerce, and storefront retail operations.

Founded in 1989, Title Nine offers women’s athletic and sports-inspired apparel, footwear and accessories. The company name comes from the Title IX legislation, requiring schools receiving federal funds to provide girls and women with an equal opportunity to compete in sports. The company has grown to include an e-commerce storefront, catalog, and multiple retail locations in California, Colorado, Oregon and Washington, with plans for future expansion.

For the Emeryville, California, retailer, the ability to centralize and share inventory among all three channels was key to the decision to standardize on CommercialWare’s multi-channel platform. In addition, providing the call center and customer care representatives with a real-time, cross-channel view of customer preferences was a significant benefit of the CommercialWare solution.

Title Nine will upgrade and replace the current applications running in its call center, 8 retail stores, and supporting the website operations with a full set of CommercialWare products – CW Direct, CWData and CWAnalytics, CWStore, CWValueCard, and CWLocate. The CommercialWare suite will handle order management, inventory, point-of-sale, stored value cards, and business intelligence.

“We want our customers to experience the best of Title Nine whether they purchase via catalog, online or in the store,” said Renee Thomas Jacobs, President, Title Nine. “The CommercialWare products will provide every channel a complete view of our customer while providing her better visibility to our inventory, regardless of location – allowing us to get her into the clothes and gear she wants, when and where she wants them. Working with CommercialWare gives us the tools and industry experience we need to take our game to the next level.”

With the CommercialWare solution, Title Nine will also be able to extend its customers gift cards for the first time.

“In Title Nine, we found a company where dedication to customer service is as important as offering high-quality products,” said Jane Cannon, Chief Operating Officer at CommercialWare. “By deploying the complete CommercialWare suite of products, Title Nine will have accurate, real-time customer and inventory information – information that is required to grow and deliver the top-flight customer service for which Title Nine is known.”
