Silverpop promotes Chris Curtin to CTO and expands development staff

Silverpop, a provider of permission-based e-mail marketing products and services, has added three technology mangers to its development team and promoted Chris Curtin from senior vice president of engineering to CTO.

Silverpop, provider of permission-based e-mail marketing products and services, has added three technology mangers to its development team and promoted Chris Curtin from senior vice president of engineering to CTO.

Curtin, the primary architect behind Silverpop’s e-mail technology, will focus on exploring new marketing technologies and products, the company said.

Silverpop named Garrett Suhm to replace Curtin as senior vice president of engineering. Suhm joins Silverpop from Equifax, where he led initiatives in global enterprise application architecture.

Yong Di, a former database expert with Aon Shared Services and DoubleClick, has joined Silverpop’s database management group. Kevin Ahrens, a former data center specialist with IBM Global Services, has joined Silverpop to manage the day-to-day operations of its multiple data centers.
