Shopping.com launches an Australian version

Online shopping comparison site Shopping.com has launched Shopping.com in Australia, which joins Shopping.com sites in the U.S., the U.K., France and Germany.

Online shopping comparison site Shopping.com has launched Shopping.com in Australia, with more than 200 Australian retailers and 500,000 products.

Among Australia’s leading retailers participating in Shopping.com are Dick Smith, Apple and Dell, as well as specialty retailers such as EzyDVD, Deals Direct, Peter`s of Kensington and Strawberrynet.

While the Australian version of Shopping.com will feature local products, including 340 Australian wines, more than 25% of products will come from overseas retailers. Based on information from retailers, all costs will be converted to Australian dollars with tax and delivery charges displayed.

Shopping.com launched in the United States in 1997, the United Kingdom in 2001, and in France and Germany in 2005. Shopping.com is an eBay Inc. company.
