Girlshop.com launches re-designed site

Girlshop.com, a fashion site for young girls featuring clothing from emerging designers, has re-launched its web site with expanded navigation that includes dynamic browsing lists and new categories.

Girlshop.com, a fashion site for young girls featuring clothing from emerging designers, has re-launched its web site with expanded navigation that includes dynamic browsing lists and new categories.

New site elements include a quick reference column featuring “top items,” “must haves” and “obsessions.” The site also will accept pre-orders on a selection of merchandise for the upcoming season.

The redesigned site also has added a gift finder and an updated “seen in” feature that allows visitors to buy items worn by celebrities or seen on television or in magazines. In addition, Girlshop.com will feature a complimentary personal shopper, who will advise visitors on sizing, place special orders, expedite shipping.

Girlshop.com, which has approximately 20,000 visitors per day, originally launched in 1998.
