Nine of the top 10 computers and consumer electronics sites experienced double-digit increases in visits in February, according to Nielsen/NetRatings. OSTG led the group, with visits rising 66% to 4.8 million from 2.9 million in February 2005.
CircuitCity.com had the second largest increase, with visits rising 39% to 8.2 million from 5.9 million a year earlier; followed by TigerDirect.com, up 35% to 3.1 million from 2.3 million; eBay Computers, up 27% to 7 million from 5.5 million; Radio Shack, up 23% to 2.17 million from 1.76 million; eBay Electronics, up 23% to 9.6 million from 7.8 million; Sony, up 17% to 3.5 million from 3 million; CompUSA, up 17% to 3.4 million from 2.9 million; BestBuy.com, up 10% to 11.5 million from 10.5 million; and Sony Electronics, up 3% to 3.2 million from 3.1 million;
BestBuy.com recorded the most visits, followed by eBay Electronics, CircuitCity.com, eBay Computers, OSTG, Sony, CompUSA, Sony Electronics, TigerDirect.com, and Radio Shack.
In the top 10 computers and consumer electronics sites ranked by time per visit, eBay Electronics led with 19 minutes, 21 seconds; followed by CDW, 18 minutes, 43 seconds; TigerDirect.com, 15 minutes, 23 seconds; Sony Electronics, 13 minutes, 6 seconds; outpost.com, 11 minutes, 23 seconds; OSTG, 11 minutes, 22 seconds; Geeks.com, 11 minutes, 14 seconds; BestBuy.com, 11 minutes, 13 seconds; eBay Computers, 11 minutes, 7 seconds; and APC, 11 minutes, 7 seconds.
