The name change is intended to clearly align the e-retailer with its branded line of storage and organization products for consumers and businesses, a company spokesperson says. The company, No. 380 in the Internet Retailer Top 400 Guide to Retail Web Sites, paid an undisclosed amount for the domain.
For the future, Organize.com plans to update and improve its product selection, services and web site functionality, which will include adding new site features designed to assist shoppers with unique storage and organizational needs. The company estimates its sales in 2006 will exceed $10 million, what would be a 39% increase over 2005 sales of $7.2 million.
