Demandware Inc., e-commerce platform technology provider has appointed eff Barnett as senior vice president of field operations and Philip Jefferson as vice president of services.
Barnett will direct all sales and services activities including consulting, partner enablement, training, and technical support. Before joining Demandware, Barnett headed up consulting and sales organizations at Siebel Systems, Edocs, ArborText, and Kenan Systems. His expertise is in enterprise software, including operating experience in general management, sales and marketing, professional services, and product management.
Jefferson will report to Barnett. Jefferson will be responsible for the company’s professional services relationships, as well as staff and business development. He also will maintain advisory relationships with clients. Previously, Jefferson was the global solution leader for the CRM Optimization Group, within the advisory services division of MasterCard. Before that, he was managing director in charge of service offering development and delivery for Watch Hill Partners Inc., which was acquired by MasterCard in May 2004.
The two join Demandware as part of the company’s growth phase. It has added 12 employees in the last 30 days and plans to hire six more in the next quarter.
